We loved making these shirts and thought we should share them with everyone! My name is Christian and I live in Durango, Colorado. I enjoy ice fishing in the winter, and in the summer you can find me trolling the local lakes in my canoe and targeting trout. I also love fishing in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota which is where my passion for fishing really blossomed. Boating a large pike or a lake trout in a canoe is pure joy for me. Being able to do it in the backcountry is just that much better!
I started Hookin’ Ain’t Easy Fishing Supply Company with my best friend in 2018. Colorado has a wide range of weather, and I wanted gear that protects and keeps me comfortable no matter the conditions. You have enough to remember to pack when you head out to the water. Clothes that protect you from the elements should be a no brainer.

Hello, I’m Jason. On my days off from nursing, my favorite thing to is go fishing. I got my first fly rod as a birthday present from my parents when I was a teenager. My dad and I learned how to fly fish together and is something we love to do. Whenever life allows, you will find me wet wading for small mouth bass in Central Ohio. I love the fight of a smallie on a fly rod! I also love my yearly trips up to steelhead alley. Traveling throughout Florida and the Caribbean has given me the opportunity to target some other fun fish like tarpon, bonefish, wahoo, tuna, snook, and many more!
After making shirts for a couple fishing trips with my best friend, Christian, we decided we wanted to share our fun and functional gear with others! That’s how Hookin’ Ain’t Easy Fishing Supply Company was born. We want to make gear that we, as fisherman, want and need, and here at HAE Fishing that’s what you get.
